After watching Real State Roofing complete a full tear-off and replacement of our neighbor’s roof in the early spring of 2025, and being impressed by what we saw, we decided to include Real State in our group of estimate providers for our own tear-off/replacement project later that spring. Real State was pleasant to deal with from our first contact. They offered a fair price; quality materials; and were consistently responsive throughout. Oneonta, NY We had a leak on our sun porch in about 4 spots. Real State Roofing was recommended by others in my area. I called them and Jose got right out to my house.. Being 1hr 15 mins away when Jose got here he was right up on the roof removing some snow to see what was going on. He had talked with my husband and gave us an estimate for just the sun porch and one for everything. Jose was very nice and seemed trustworthy. After going over the 3 estimates I got we felt Real State Roofing was more than fair on their estimate , quality of products and their quality of work was superior from recommendations. I called Jose and he came out Monday and tarped our roof for us to get us through till they could complete the roof. The morning of our roof tear off they arrived at 7:15 am from Albany area and left at 8:00 pm. After the roof tear off they had found some other leaks on my main roof. In which more photos were taken to show me. And they found no plywood on my roof from 19 years ago, just boards with gaps and holes. Real State Roofing Crew are all hard dedicated workers. That hammer pounded for 12 hrs and they moved the 65 pieces of plywood to the roof. The only time they stopped was for a quick lunch break.

From start to finish, Jose was responsive, hard working, and truly reliable. The estimate for a new roof and a second repair was fair and Jose’s start day was almost immediate (weather permitted). Jose and his team arrived 730am and continued to work on two separate roofs until the sun was practically down. The new roof to the barn is stunning and matches the other buildings beautifully. The repair to the other roof ended up being more extensive than originally expected, but was still done within the time frame given. Ultimately, Jose took the time to ensure the roof that needed repairing was completely safe and would last another 15 years. Jose and his team took the time to make sure there were no loose screws, nails, or metal laying about. I will absolutely and always recommend Jose and his team. Also, shout out to Hector, who while Jose was busy up on the roofs, was running around getting the extra material needed for repairs. Amazing team work!

I highly recommend this company. Outstanding job siding my house. No short cuts, high quality materials and excellent communication. The best part is that they were super affordable. Literally thousands lower than both local and national competitors. They finished the job completely and left the property as clean as they found it.
