Towards the end of last year, I had several companies come out and quote for a full roof replacement. Golden Group gave me the best feeling about the job from the initial discussion. Where other contractors canceled appointments, arrived late, or were just no-shows - Mikel (out of their Hudson office) arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the roof including taking drone footage. He sat with me and walked me through the whole process clearly, explaining all my choices in materials and didn't push any product or add-on. I did receive marginally cheaper quotes, but they did not leave me feeling like my home was in good hands in the same way that Mikel did and I felt the extra money was likely to be worth it.

The Golden Group installed a new roof and skylights as well as a new solar system for us last month. They were wonderful to work with. Their quote for the work is accurate and their various crews (installers, electricians, inspectors) all arrived on time and worked tirelessly to get the job done. We called in Golden Group after a bathroom renovation project uncovered some roofing and siding leaking. Because the leaks needed to be fixed before the renovation project could continue, we need help FAST! Mikel at Golden Group came out immediately to provide an inspection and estimate and had a team out working the day after we signed the contract.
