So, last year I decided to check on my free listing on angi. I requested an estimate from myself. I received 3 calls from competitors and never personally received a notification. Royally pissed me off that they were using my reputation to sell leads and then making it seem like I did not contact the client. I called the rep and told them to remove all my information from Angi. What does the rep do????? he keeps my listing and marks me as no longer in business.
Don’t join! They are constantly being sued and changing their name because of it. My experience is they just want money. Heard many others say it’s a massive scam! Avoid them and home advisor. There are tons of horror stories online.
Angi leads is a total scam. I signed up after being told many many lies. The "leads" that were sent to me were either bots or people that had never requested my services whatsoever.... Some people never even responded to me.... After I tried to cancel with them after having PROOF over email that they were deceitful... they tried to charge me $1000. For two weeks straight I called daily, filed complaints with the BBB and obtained an attorney. Only then did they waive the $1000 fee. They are a racket do not sign up!

Stay the fuck away!!! Biggest scam I’ve ever seen. Seriously, and they fuck you out of money the whole time. It’s ridiculous.
